Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Drive delivery trucks, vans, and/or tractor-trailer to deliver product to retail accounts with the help of merchandiser and/or delivery chaser.
  • Manually load and unload product from truck using a hand cart and pallet jack.
  • Deliver and rotate Stein products in retail accounts.
  • Build strong relationships with retailers by delivering products in a timely and efficient manner and rotating product as necessary to ensure freshness.
  • Complete and submit all required paperwork, invoices, display forms, load sheets, and cash/checks within appropriate time frames.
  • Ensure accurate completion of Department of Transportation checklist and report maintenance issues and accidents in a timely manner.
  • Collect payment for product as required. Balance invoices with checks, cash, etc. at the end of the day and explain any variances to appropriate office staff.

Requirements:

  • Must have acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license with Class A endorsement
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
  • Must be able to lift 35-50 pounds routinely and up to 160 pounds
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card
  • Clean appearance
