Job description

Sun Valley Resort is seeking a class-act CDL Shuttle Driver to join our Bell Services team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in safe, courteous driving and enjoys delivering exceptional service to every guest. Our Shuttle Drivers are the first and last face of the resort for many of our visitors—meeting them at the airport, assisting with luggage, and ensuring a smooth, welcoming journey to and from their Sun Valley experience. Seasonal & Year-Round opportunities are available.

To be considered, you must possess a valid Class A, B, or C Commercial Driver’s License with a Passenger Endorsement and meet Idaho state driving requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate resort shuttle vehicles in all weather and road conditions, adhering to company policies and all traffic regulations

  • Provide warm, friendly greetings and farewells to all guests—offering luggage assistance upon arrival and departure

  • Maintain the professional appearance of shuttle vehicles, hotel lobbies, entrances, and related guest areas

  • Respond promptly to guest requests for transportation, luggage delivery, and in-room amenities (e.g., extra linens, ironing boards, etc.)

  • Promote resort amenities and services by answering questions and offering suggestions, both in-person and over the phone

  • Stay current on resort information, activities, and local recommendations to assist guests with directions and trip planning

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience

  • Maintain written logs of guest requests and deliveries as needed

  • Support fellow Bell Service and Front Office team members in daily operations and peak service times

Qualifications:

  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License and Class A, B, or C CDL with Passenger Endorsement required

  • Ability to meet all Sun Valley and Idaho driving standards for shuttle operation

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; enthusiastic, approachable demeanor

  • Ability to work in the outdoors in various conditions (rain, sun, heat, cold, snow, etc.)
  • Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, poking, and reaching
  • Passion for guest service and commitment to providing a safe, efficient, and welcoming transport experience
  • Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and varied shift schedules
