Apple Autos is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Automotive Service Dispatcher/Shop Foreman for our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating service appointments, managing technician schedules and productivity, and ensuring the smooth flow of automotive services. What You’ll Do

  • Assign work to technicians according to their skill level, and to “time promised.”
  • Follow-up work in process, inform service advisors ahead of time, if time promised cannot be kept.
  • Maintain shop capacity control and advise service advisors of capacity status
    throughout the day.
  • Work with techs daily to hit their individual daily goals and drive the daily-weekly-monthly production goals for the department to hit the financial goals.
  • Prohibit personnel from using equipment, materials, or processes for which they have not received appropriate training.
  • Requisition installation of engineering controls, and purchase of protective equipment before using equipment, materials, or processes for which appropriate controls and equipment have not been established.
  • Assign work to technicians.  Follow up on work progress.
  • Monitor shop capacity and provide information to service advisors.
  • Monitor technician efficiency and provide assistance for improvement.
  • Keep workshop technical information updated.  Maintain information library.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards in the workshop, technicians’ facilities, and service parking lot.
  • Help mentor and train our younger techs to become the best versions of themselves.
  • Team player and belief that our people are the top priority and truly dictate our success.
  • Follow processes that support a great guest experience and  drive CSI and fix it right the first time scores.
