Job description

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Warehouse/Delivery Driver. This dual-role position is responsible for a variety of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and organizing inventory, as well as safely and efficiently delivering products to our customers. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Operations:

    • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and products.
    • Accurately count, sort, and store inventory in designated locations within the warehouse.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
    • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for delivery or shipment.
    • Perform regular inventory checks and assist with inventory management.
    • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and proficiently (if applicable, specify certification requirements).
    • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
  • Delivery Driving:

    • Safely and efficiently operate a company vehicle (e.g., box truck, van) for local and regional deliveries.
    • Load and unload products onto and off the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper securing of goods to prevent damage.
    • Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently to meet deadlines.
    • Interact professionally and courteously with customers during deliveries.
    • Obtain necessary signatures and complete delivery documentation accurately.
    • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
    • Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies.
Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL may be required depending on vehicle size - specify if needed).
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver and/or warehouse associate is preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects regularly (e.g., 50+ pounds).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Basic computer skills for order processing and delivery tracking (if applicable).
  • Knowledge of local delivery routes and traffic patterns.
