Pay: $50,000 per year (includes $700 biweekly base pay + 5% commission)

Davis Ice Cream Georgia is a family-owned ice cream and frozen novelty distributor serving retail customers throughout the Macon area. We are looking for a dependable and customer-focused Route Sales Delivery Driver with CDL Class B Mandatory to manage established local delivery routes. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, building relationships with customers, and being on the road while still being home daily.

Responsibilities

  • Service established delivery routes for ice cream and frozen products
  • Deliver, unload, and stock products at customer locations
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and provide excellent service
  • Collect and reconcile payments and invoices when necessary
  • Keep accurate route logs, delivery records, and sales information
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of assigned delivery vehicle
  • Follow all DOT, traffic, and company safety regulations

Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class B Mandatory with a clean driving record (3-year MVR required)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a route schedule
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day
