Job description

Class 1 Bulk Haul Drivers – Various Locations In Alberta and Saskatchewan


LaPrairie Works Oilfields Services (LWOS), is currently recruiting for permanent full-time and seasonal Class 1 Drivers to expand our skilled team of transportation and logistics professionals throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan.  Driver schedules are tailored to optimize consistent local deliveries and to accommodate drivers’ individual scheduling needs.



JOB LOCATION: Grimshaw, AB, Grande Prairie, AB, Whitecourt, AB, Fox Creek, AB, Vermilion, AB, Vegreville, AB, Lloydminster, AB/SK, Hanna, AB, Oyen, AB, Westlock, AB, Barrhead, AB and Saskatoon, SK.

Responsibilities:

  • Haul various bulk materials in Super-B Hopper and Tridem Live-bottom configurations on a full-time basis.
  • Conduct and record pre-operational checks on equipment.
  • Operate loading and unloading equipment as required.
  • Adhere to daily schedules set out by Dispatch.
  • Complete daily driver logs accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a clean and organized truck.
  • Ability to navigate work sites and adapt to daily changes in site scope of work.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Must hold valid Class 1 license with clean drivers abstract.
  • Two years or more of bulk commodity hauling on and off highway is preferred.
  • Availability to work overtime when needed.
  • Daily Subsistence for “Out of town”- work.
  • Oilfield experience is a significant asset.
