HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Our Seasonal Order Entry Support Clerk will assist with data entry and customer invoicing during peak season.

A Seasonal Order Entry Support Clerk will represent Varsity Brands by demonstration of company core values in driving the highest ethical standards of conduct in all business activities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Answers customer calls to assist customers and solve customer problems.
  • Keeps track of orders received and source documents.
  • Prepares and sorts source documents and identifies and interprets data to be entered.
  • Contacts prepare source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
  • Enters alphabet, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into computer following format displayed on screen and enters necessary codes.
  • Compares data entered with source documents, or reenters data in verification format on screen to detect errors.
  • Make necessary corrections to information entered.
  • Compiles, sorts, and verifies accuracy of data to be entered.
  • Keeps record of work completed.
  • Reviews error reports and enter corrections into computer.
  • Files or routes source documents after entry.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding entered data.

QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
