Job description

Exciting opportunity exists for a Clinician in the Adolescent Therapeutic Activities Program in Fall River! We are seeking a creative and team orientated professional who is passionate about assisting youth in managing mental health needs and achieving treatment goals both individually and in the group environment. The clinician will also be responsible for the provision of direct services to each adolescent youth member on assigned case load including the development and review of a comprehensive treatment plan for each youth.
Job duties include:
Participation in daily groups and work as a team with the Director and mentor staff.
Maintain consistent phone contact and emails with parents, guardians and collaterals
Bi-weekly treatment consults with individual youth members, and attendance at their care plan or other treatment meetings
Attend staff meetings, inter-agency trainings, review meetings and trainings with state agency, and local community human services provider meetings.
Provide coaching and teaching of various life skills, coping skills, and crisis support and interventions to youth members.
Masters in Human Services or Social Work or related field, License eligible preferred.
Experience working with adolescent and/or young adult population, and knowledge of adolescent development, mental health interventions and implementing treatment plans preferred
Excellent communication - written and verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills
Must have a current valid driver's license and clean driving record as the position requires travel
Possess basic computer skills for purpose of data entry and word processing
