Job description

Quality Staffing, Inc., a leading full-service employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the area's top companies, is looking for Data Entry Specialist to work through our agency as a contract employee for the State of Tennessee with the Department of Health located in Nashville, TN. This is a 1st shift position working 8:00 am- 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday for a total of 37.5 hours per week. Overtime is not permitted. This position starts at $15.75 per hour. Parking is included.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Analyzes, interprets, and enforces existing policies and procedures. Processes licensure applications by reviewing, and keying into the computer. Reviews and collects all documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards. Verifies eligibility information to ensure federal and state standards are met. Reviews and pulls pending mail that has been received for processing.
  • Ensures that licensure applications are is complete, including all documentation required by the statutes, rules, or policies. Answers questions regarding application status/process by mail, email, phone, or in person. Reviews and ensures that outgoing correspondence material is correctly documented, addressed, copied, and mailed. Matches incoming documents with corresponding files.
  • Will be doing data entry, scanning, emailing, making copies

  • Must have solid administrative skills and excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be a team player- backing up and supporting their team.
  • Must have excellent data entry skills and have great attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Some College preferred.
  • Candidates must be local at time of submission.
  • Candidates must also be able to start within 2 weeks of an offer being made.
