Job description

Job Summary (List Format):
- Local Candidates Only: Must be currently local, specify location on resume, available for in-person interview within 1 week, and able to start within 2 weeks of offer.
- Project Duration: July through end of November; two phases.
- Phase 1: Receive emails and enter data into the unclaimed property system.
- Phase 2: Answer inbound customer calls and manage the Unclaimed Property Hotline.
- Customer Service: Act as first contact and liaison for unclaimed property inquiries, resolve customer issues, complaints, and inquiries effectively.
- Manage inbound calls in a timely manner.
- Follow call center scripts as required.
- Identify customer needs, clarify information, research issues, and provide solutions.
- Document Control: Handle forms and correspondence.
- Sign for and process incoming mail.
- Sort, distribute, and organize mail and packages.
- Produce digital copies for records retention.
- Prepare and forward outgoing correspondence.
- Correct and forward misdirected mail; arrange express delivery as needed.
- Data Entry: Accurately and efficiently enter and update data.
- Transfer data from paper to computer/database.
- Verify data accuracy and update existing records.
- Retrieve and organize data as requested.
- Maintain paperwork and electronic files.
- Hybrid Position: Work in-office as required.
- Required Skills: Record keeping, data entry, customer service, phone experience.
- Preferred Qualification: High school diploma or equivalent.
