Supervisor - Sales Coordinators

Job Duties

  • Supervise and assist coordinators with beginner, intermediate, and complex issues.
  • Provide training to coordinators and continually seek ways to advance their skills and capabilities.
  • Evaluate and anticipate team’s work volume and assign work accordingly.
  • Monitor coordinators’ work for accuracy and compliance with standard procedures.
  • Review, modify, develop, and implement office support operating procedures to maximize efficiency and ensure compliance with Accounting, Tax, Audit & Legal departments.
  • Running and maintaining reports for new key metrics such as Days on Inventory and Days Sales Outstanding.
  • Work with all departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage sales order status and inventory for timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Order equipment and ensure accuracy in specifications, pricing, delivery, and costing.
  • Responsible for coaching, motivating, and developing direct reports.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5-7 years related experience
  • Associate degree
  • Non-degree considered if 6+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED
  • Occasional travel (0-5%)
  • Occasional overnight stays (0-5%)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior company sales coordinator or supervisory experience preferred
  • Good computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Good communication, relationship building, and time management skills
  • Problem solving capability, strong sense of urgency, responsibility, and self-motivation with an ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability and willingness to work outside normal business hours to prepare for sales activities may be required.
