Job description

Lindler's Construction of South Carolina, LLC is seeking qualified candidates for an estimator position in Newberry, SC. Please call the office for more information or to schedule an interview.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Estimate public and private projects for civil site packages. Including earthwork, grading, storm drain, utilities, asphalt, and site concrete.
  • Process drawings and associated files for takeoffs
  • Navigate and utilize project management software
  • Communicate with team and owners
  • Quantify materials and volumes
  • Create request for quotes (RFQs) for vendors and subcontractors
  • Formulate and communicate requests for information (RFIs)
  • Combine quantities, materials, and subcontractor pricing into a clear and in-depth proposal
  • Process change order requests from the field management. Meeting with field management and organizing field reports related to change orders.
  • Solicit pricing and field reports for change orders
  • Create change order proposals for owners

Preferred Experience:

  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Project Management Software experience agtek, procore, etc.
  • On screen take off capabilities
