Now Hiring Part-Time School Bus Drivers in San Antonio, TX

Seeking Fully Licensed CDL Drivers

First Student is currently hiring licensed CDL Class A or Class B Drivers with Passenger (P), School Bus (S), and Air Brake (A) endorsements to join our team in San Antonio, TX.

As a First Student Part-Time School Bus Driver, you play a vital role in your community by safely transporting students to and from school each day. Your commitment to safety and customer service helps ensure students arrive at school and home safely.

Your Day Will Include:

  • A split shift with morning and afternoon routes.

  • A guaranteed shift of 5 hours per school day.

  • No nights or weekends required unless desired.

  • Opportunities for additional hours through charters and field trips when available.

School Bus Driver Benefits:

  • $20.00 - $22.20 per hour, based on experience.

  • Guaranteed hours with a minimum of 25 hours per week.

About the Position:

  • Safely transport students to and from school.

  • Utilize industry-leading technology to support daily routes.

  • Maintain compliance with all state, local, and company safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL Class A or Class B license required.

  • Must be at least 21 years old.

  • Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.

  • Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug test and physical examination.

  • DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibits the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
