TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Oncology RN in Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46804!

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology

Location

Fort Wayne, Indiana

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care on a medical/surgical oncology unit with 24 beds
  • Administer chemotherapy and biological agents in accordance with facility protocols
  • Administer blood products and monitor patients for adverse reactions
  • Float to other units as required based on staffing and census needs
  • Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Cerner EMR
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Indiana
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility – local candidates are not accepted
  • Must submit a valid driver's license and permanent home address matching ID at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Oncology nursing background strongly preferred
  • Experience with Cerner EMR
  • Chemo/biotherapy certification (or willingness to obtain within one year of placement)
