Overview
Registered Nurse โ€“ Emergency Department travel assignment in Utica, NY. Start date: 07/20/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay ranges from $2,276 to $2,472 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is nights on a 2x3 schedule. This hospital-based ED assignment involves adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient care in a 64-bed unit with triage, trauma, CDU, and psychiatric beds.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, triage, and ongoing monitoring of acuity levels
- Administer medications, perform ED-appropriate procedures, and respond to emergent events
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient care and disposition
- Document care in the EPIC electronic medical record with accuracy and timeliness
- Support pediatric and adult patients and families, including education and discharge planning
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to ED protocols during high-volume or high-acuity situations
Requirements
- Active New York RN license (NURSYS verification for all RN licenses)
- 2+ years of Emergency Department experience; some pediatric experience preferred
- Travel experience required; local candidates considered at local rate (less than 75 miles)
- Certifications: current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS; TNCC required to be in hand
- EMR experience with EPIC
- Driverโ€™s license with address matching demographics
- RTO (time-off) request must be included at time of submission
