Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel
The Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel is a 29-story hotel, located at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd, and connected directly to the Broward County Convention. The property offers 801 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a vibrant rooftop bar, a sprawling pool, spa, and fitness center. The hotel has over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, 25 breakout rooms and pre-function meeting space with waterfront views.
JOB PURPOSE: To service and maintain the cleanliness of all public areas including
public and associate restrooms, lobby floors, banquet space, and executive offices in accordance with Omni Standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • To ensure that the hotel lobbies are serviced throughout the day.

  • To service all public restrooms in lobby, convention, and pool areas.

  • To service the executive offices.

  • Services both men's and ladies associate locker rooms.

  • To service lobby and lower lobby pre-function space.

  • Ensure cleanliness of lobby, convention, outdoor, and all other public areas focusing on keeping areas neat and clean at all times.

  • Ensure main guest entrance is neat, clean, and presentable at all times.

  • Ensure all floral arrangements and plants are neat with no debris in the planters.

  • Ensure all ash urns and trash bins throughout property are empty, neat and clean at all times.

  • Ensure water fountain and atm areas are maintained neat and clean at all times.

  • Serving guests and associate elevators and escalators.

  • To ensure that hotel, guest, and associates are maintained in a safe and secure environment.

  • Complete any special projects that might be assigned by the housekeeping leaders

  • Report any maintenance issues or any concerns.

  • Offer assistance and information to our guests.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Able to maintain a 4- diamond level of service.

  • Able to work with Management on special projects.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively (must be able to answer basic questions about services and amenities, give directions to guests).

  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.

  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

ENVIRONMENT & POSITION ANALYSIS:
  • Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.

  • Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.

  • Requires repetitive motion of arms and hands.

TOOLS & EQUIPMENT:
  • Telephone, push to talk radio, cart, vacuum, mop and broom, duster, and chemicals
