Job description

Primary Functions:

This position is located at our Northfield, MN location and is responsible for supporting the efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and continuous improvement of loan operations processes. The role combines operational support with analytical responsibilities, including workflow analysis, procedure documentation, system utilization, quality control, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Support the processing and servicing of commercial and consumer loans
  • Provide operational support to the lending and loan operations teams
  • Serves as a resource for internal and external customers
  • Helps ensure the timely and accurate execution of loan-related processes
  • Evaluate current workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency consistency, automation and internal controls
  • Document procedures, maintain training materials, support cross-training efforts, and implement process improvements that enhance operational effectiveness
  • Responsible for escrow administration and monitoring activities
  • Support compliance, quality control, and reporting functions through HMDA reporting, audit and examination support, regulatory reporting, loan exception monitoring, and other assigned control procedures
  • Will work closely with lenders, loan operations staff, compliance and other departments to ensure consistent execution of loan processes, regulatory compliance, and exceptional service


Position Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

1-2 Years of Banking, Loan Operations, Loan Processing, Lending Support, or Related Experience Preferred

Strong Computer Skills and Ability to Learn Bank Systems and Applications

Excellent Attention to Detail and Accuracy

Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

Excellent Organizational Skills

Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
