Position Summary:

Assembles proper loan documentation for commercial and agricultural loan packages and provides support for our loan processing system. Performs variety of clerical duties requiring knowledge of departmental procedures and commercial loan documentation. Assembles and verifies loan documents for accuracy. Maintains and sets up files on each loan and ensures that information is complete and accurate before processing to the loan officer for approval. Provides administrative support to all Commercial/Ag lenders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare loan documents; prepare tickets, etc. as needed
  • Leases - process new leases; generate weekly and monthly reports for SCI
  • Maintain proper documentation on all FSA, SBA, Agri-Access and Farmer Mac loans
  • Assist in processing of loan requests - research loans, codes and collateral
  • Prepare mortgage releases
  • Assist loan officers as needed; including various administrative tasks
  • Insure proper perfection of security for loans
  • Track exception documents and verify receipt thereof
  • Maintain ticklers
  • Ensure schedules and deadlines are met
  • Be knowledgeable of loan documentation and regulationย 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at the same time
  • Proven ability to accurately prepare and deliver documentation, projects, and tasksย 


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with systems such as Navigator, ComplianceOne, and Director


Skillsย 

  • Must be able to deal tactfully and efficiently with bank customers in handling problems of a relatively complex nature
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong communication and phone skills, confidentiality and basic computer skills are desired


Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
