Join our Sentry Bank team!


Sentry Bank is looking to hire a full-time Loan Processor at our St. Joseph location.


Hours will be Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm.


Pay range starts at $22/hr, but compensation is higher with more experience.


Summary

The loan processor is responsible for creating and processing loan documents and payments, while maintaining files with state, FDIC, and compliance requirements.


Duties

  • Prepare and review loan documents for all fields: commercial, consumer, secondary market, etc.
  • Correct non-posts
  • Maintain ticklers
  • Verify work of other loan processors
  • Maintain loan files and paperwork
  • Do daily and monthly balancing and reporting for serviced loans
  • Process loan payments
  • Prepare daily loan reports
  • Assist customers with loan questions
  • Put new loans on the system
  • Perform all preliminary work for loans, LEs, flood certificates, order title, appraisals, etc.
  • Periodic responsibilities include constructing board packets, charge-off balancing, verifying and maintain holds that pertain to collateral, and maintain items in collateral vault


Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Loan processing or Banking experience required
  • LaserPro experience preferred
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong communication and computer skills
  • Detail oriented, high degree of accuracy
