Job description

Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is currently seeking a Mortgage Loan Processing Assistant for our office in Alpharetta, GA. Previous experience in the mortgage industry is preferred. If interested, please proceed by clicking Apply.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Scrub files after application is taken
  • Review support documents prior to efolder upload (credit reports, bank statements, paystubs, 401k statements, appraisals, etc.)
  • Upload disclosures
  • Send welcome letter to borrower (request additional information and/or collect all documents for loan processing)
  • Maintain file status and communication between loan officer/realtor/borrowers
  • Order HOI, VOD and VOEs
  • Work with processing to address any file issues and to help clear conditions
  • Submit loans for re-score of credit
  • Manage pipeline and closing dates, ensuring the buyer, seller and agent all agree, HUD sent 48 hours prior, and buyer is aware that Certified Funds are required to close
  • Provide administrative support to branch. Duties include clerical, reception and project-based work
  • Provide exceptional member service
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • Project a professional company image in person, over the phone and in written communications
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task
  • At least 1+ year(s) mortgage industry experience and a working knowledge of the industry
