Point72โ€™s Operations team supports all operational aspects of trade processing, reconciliation, financing, and reporting firmwide for all products, including equities, derivatives, bonds, foreign exchange and futures, and digital assets across global markets. The team provides opportunities to build deep operational expertise and broad exposure across the firm, supporting internal mobility and long-term career development.


What youโ€™ll do

  • Build and scale an operational platform that supports the full lifecycle of private credit transactions, partnering with front office, back office, compliance, and technology teams to deliver measurable impact

  • Design, enhance, and implement robust workflows, processes, and control frameworks for private credit trade support, and maintain clear operational documentation and control standards

  • Manage the front-to-back lifecycle of loan investments, including trade entry, lifecycle event processing, monitoring, and reconciling trade activity and cash flows across direct lending, syndicated loans, broadly syndicated loans, collateralized loan obligations, significant risk transfers, and other private credit products

  • Set up and maintain static and reference data for private credit assets to ensure accurate security setup and account information across systems

  • Verify and reconcile positions, accruals, amortization schedules, and cash activity between borrowers, third-party loan servicers, custodians, agents, and the internal general ledger

  • Coordinate closing workflows by reviewing deal documentation, preparing funding memos, overseeing cash movements, tracking covenants, and executing deal-specific requirements

  • Support liquidity management by preparing and updating cash forecasts, coordinating with Treasury on funding needs, and ensuring timely execution of incoming and outgoing cash flows

  • Monitor leverage and financing arrangements by tracking accruals and payments, managing credit facilities, and coordinating with financing counterparties

  • Resolve trade discrepancies and operational breaks by partnering with portfolio managers, traders, external servicers, agents, and counterparties to drive timely remediation

  • Drive automation and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and control, partnering with technology to implement scalable solutions


Whatโ€™s required

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, or a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience in private credit, leveraged loans, asset-backed loans, pooled loans, syndicated loans, structured credit operations, or loan administration

  • Strong knowledge of direct lending structures, syndicated loan mechanics, asset-backed securities, pooled loans, collateralized loan obligations, significant risk transfers, and broader private credit markets

  • Working knowledge of Geneva portfolio accounting systems and a strong understanding of accounting for private credit transactions, including accruals, payment-in-kind interest, fee amortization, original issue discount, waterfall calculations, cash movements, and profit and loss recognition

  • Familiarity with loan settlement processes, agency communications, and trade affirmation platforms such as ClearPar, as well as an understanding of LSTA and LMA documentation standards

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and lookup functions, with experience using macros or scripting for process automation

  • Experience using portfolio, risk management, or loan servicing systems to support trade processing and reconciliations

  • Proven ability to manage the front-to-back lifecycle of loan investments, including trade entry, lifecycle event processing, and reconciliation of trade activity and cash flows

  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to perform accurately in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and engage effectively with external servicers, agents, and counterparties
