Integration Test & QA Automation Engineer

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly talented, technical, hands-on Integration Test & QA Automation Engineer to help accelerate our growing Professional Services business within the Government Sector. You will own integration testing and user-acceptance testing for the data and GRC integrations on a federal continuous Authorization to Operate (cATO) program - building automated, traceable test suites and validating data-flow accuracy and completeness before deployment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Integration Test & UAT: Author and execute integration test plans and results; validate connector data flow, accuracy, and completeness against acceptance and traceability criteria.
  • Test Automation: Build reusable test-automation frameworks (Selenium/BDD/Cucumber) and API test suites; integrate tests into CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
  • Performance Testing: Run performance testing (JMeter/LoadRunner) on integration and pipeline components and identify bottlenecks.
  • AI-Assisted Testing: Implement test scaffolding, intelligent prioritization, defect classification, and adaptive test maintenance.
  • Front-End Coverage: Provide front-end test coverage (React/Jest) for UI components as needed.
  • AWS Secrets Manager) supporting control evidence.

Qualifications

  • High level of attention to detail, needs minimal guidance, effective verbal and written communication.
  • 15+ years in enterprise QA and test automation, including federal systems.
  • Selenium/BDD (Cucumber, Gherkin), API testing (Postman/SOAP UI), and performance testing (JMeter).
  • CI/CD test integration (Jenkins, Git, GitHub Actions).
  • Test planning, traceability, and acceptance-criteria definition for compliance-relevant systems.
  • React/Jest front-end coverage and SQL/data-validation testing a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science (or higher) in computer engineering, computer science, information technology, cyber security, or a related field.
  • Another major will be considered, provided it clearly addresses at least one of the following: cyber security engineering, systems administration, information systems security, software development security, systems engineering, information systems, or information technology.

CERTIFICATION

  • None required.

Clearance Level

  • No Clerance required, but an active Secret Clearance is preferred.

Work Location

  • Primary location(s) are Arlington and Alexandria VA. Remote work is authorized, but the employee may have to report to one of the primary sites occasionally or as requested by management or the client.

Hours of Operation

  • 6:00 am ET – 6:00 pm ET

SALARY RANGE:

  • $130,000–$160,000+

  • Ability to pass a minimum background investigation.
