Job description

Amyx, Inc. is seeking an Data Loading Supervisor to be located in Washington, DC, for the eDiscovery team that will support the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Office of General Counsel (OGC).


The SEC has four primary goals: 1) Detect possible violations of the securities laws and regulations, including fraud; 2) Foster strong compliance and risk management practices; 3) monitor risk; and 4) Provide the SEC with implementation of rules and laws. The work environment will be dynamic, fast-paced and the candidate must demonstrate a strong customer service presence with SEC and Contractor staff.


  • The Data Loading Supervisor leads day-to-day eDiscovery operations while driving automation, scripting, and systems integrations to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. This role supervises analysts and project staff, oversees complex collections and processing workflows, and develops automated solutions that integrate eDiscovery tools with enterprise systems.

  •  Supervise and mentor eDiscovery analysts and senior analysts, ensuring adherence to defensible workflows and best practices

  • Oversee end-to-end eDiscovery operations including collections, processing, review preparation, production, and data disposition.

  • Serve as an escalation point for complex technical, legal, and data integrity issues.

  • Ensure chain of custody, documentation, and defensibility across all matters.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation using PowerShell, Python, and/or REST APIs to streamline eDiscovery workflows.

  • Automate repetitive tasks such as data collections through MS Purview, M365, journaling, and archvies

  • Build scripts to reduce manual effort, errors, and turnaround times.

  • Integrate systems like MS Purview, Enterprise Vault, and Casepoint

  • Modernize eDiscovery workflows through automation and tooling enhancements

  • Develop SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation.

  • Contribute to roadmap planning for eDiscovery technology and automation initiatives.

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technology, or other field related to work under this requirement.
• Favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) investigation.
• 10+ years of professional experience.

• The candidate must have familiarity with eDiscovery collections tools i.e. (Microsoft Purview, Enterprise Vault) to collect data and send data to processing/review platforms
• The candidate must have familiarity with eDiscovery processing tools to process data for litigation databases in support of various review platforms.
• The candidate will conduct quality reviews of data within each database after processing to ensure data integrity and project reconciliation prior to submission to the government.
• The candidate will have a vast knowledge of quality control workflows and proper eDiscovery processing and preservation techniques.
• The candidate will have superior time management and production processing multitasking techniques to ensure that productions (large or small) will be submitted on time in accordance to government set timelines.
• The candidate will be familiar with customer service level agreements and processing demands to correspond to these agreements.
• The candidate will have strong knowledge of data triage and have strong problem solving skills, from reconciling individual file processing issues e.g. (PSTs, Microsoft Office Documents, PDFs), to troubleshooting the SEC’s various processing and review platforms as issues are presented and encountered.
• The candidate will have knowledge of reporting techniques to submit production and project reports (as needed) to government leads.
• The Candidate will have strong project logging skills as it pertains to all task detail recording from receipt of the project to maintain chain of custody, to recording all processing attributes (errors, exceptions, bates ranges, file counts etc.)
• The candidate must be an effective communicator to the client in email and verbally, to be able to properly escalate problematic productions or issues that are faced during processing and upload within SEC environments.
