Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
Provides SMART customer service through the execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures, and programs
Assists customers with locating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise while responding promptly to customers and associate questions
Supports checkout, fulfillment, and customer assistance needs throughout the store
Pulls, stages, and prepares customer and contractor orders accurately and efficiently
Use power equipment and store technology safely and effectively to move, stage, and load merchandise
Maintains in-stock conditions by down stocking and replenishing merchandise as needed
Supports large order fulfillment while maintaining product quality and accuracy
Collect carts and help maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas inside the store and parking lot
Identifies and reports safety hazards, theft, and security concerns to management and/or Asset Protection
Operates store equipment as needed depending on one specific role and department (e.g., Zebra phone, telephone, paging system, copiers, computers, CCTV surveillance system, key cutter, panel saw, paint mixer, flooring cutters, compacter baler)
Communicates all stock, special order merchandise, product features, application, warranty, and Lowe's program information to customers, while responding knowledgeably to customer and employee questions and providing project guidance when needed.
Follows all Lowe's safety policies and procedures, including proper use of power equipment, spotters and safety devices
Performs additional duties as assigned
The following are additional responsibilities for the Loader role specific to Pro.
Serves as a visible extension of the Pro Desk by supporting Pro customer relationships from arrival through order completion
Proactively engage Pro customers while assisting with loading, staging, and order fulfillment
Remains visible and available to support customers in the Pro loading area, including under the Pro canopy
Responds quickly to customer loading requests and helps ensure efficient service for large or complex orders
Builds relationships with repeat Pro customers and supports enrollment in MyLowe's Pro Rewards and Pro Credit offerings
Ensures Pro Standards are maintained in parking lot and under Pro canopy.
Completes required power equipment and spotter training to support safe and efficient loading practices
Loads customer vehicles using proper techniques based on order size, weight, and fulfillment needs
Ensure orders are loaded accurately while maintaining product quality and safety standards
The following are additional responsibilities for the Loader role specific to the Garden Center.
Assists customers and associates with loading products and completing orders in the Garden Center
Remains visible and available to support customer needs throughout the Garden Center loading area
Completes required power equipment and spotter training to support safe and efficient loading practices
Loads customer vehicles using proper techniques based on order size, weight, and fulfillment needs
Supports the completion of large, high-quality orders while maintaining product accuracy and safety
Partners with the Garden Center Department Supervisor to ensure customer orders are staged and ready for pickup
Required Qualifications
6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
6 Months Retail experience
6 Months Experience as a Loader at any home improvement or hardware retailer
6 Months Retail merchandising experience, including performing Zone Recovery, stocking, down stocking, facing/fronting product, pricing, maintaining signage, and housekeeping
6 Months Experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles.
Pay Range: $15.00 - $16.20 per hour
