Job description

Intuit Dome is seeking a Loading Dock Teammate to help keep the loading dock operations running smoothly. The Loading Dock Teammate is to ensure the accurate, timely, and secure flow of mail, packages, and freight throughout the arena. This position supports daily operations in the loading dock and mailroom.
On Thursday August 20th, we will be hosting an in-person Interview Event. During this event, you will connect with our hiring manager and participate in one-on-one interviews. Event is by invitation only. Please apply to be considered. We will send email invitations before Monday, August 17th. The target start date is Tuesday, September 1st.
This is a part-time seasonal position for the 2026-2027 NBA season based at the Intuit Dome located in Inglewood, CA. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover high profile concerts and NBA games. Work hours will fluctuate based on event schedules and business needs.
What You Will Do
  • Offload and sort pallets and packages and assist with receiving large shipments.
  • Assist Loading Dock Technicians with deliveries throughout the arena.
  • Log vehicle traffic and delivery activity, maintaining accurate inbound/outbound records.
  • Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and received items.
  • Support the setup of temporary infrastructure (bike racks, traffic cones, etc).
  • Stage pallets, bales, and bulk materials for delivery or storage.
  • Safely handle HazMat and sensitive shipments as directed.
  • Keep dock and adjacent service areas clean and organized.
  • Provide end-of-shift recaps to ensure clear communication with the team.
  • Follow all Intuit Dome safety and operational policies.
  • Other duties as required by the Dockmaster on Duty.

Compensation
  • Compensation for this role is $20/hour.

Essential Functions of the Job (Physical Requirements & Working Conditions)
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment or materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, or remain in a stationary position for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead and horizontally as needed to perform job duties.
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs and work safely at various heights, including top of stairways, when required.
  • Ability to work in confined or enclosed spaces, including elevators, when required.
  • Ability to move throughout the venue quickly and safely during events.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and supervisors in person and through radio or other communication devices.
  • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments. Outdoor work may include exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, wind, humidity, and direct sunlight.
  • Ability to work in environments with elevated noise levels, crowds, and vibration typical of live sporting events and entertainment venues.
  • Ability to work in crowded environments with frequent interaction with guests and team members.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts based on business needs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
