Security Flex Officer $20.00/Hour

The Security Flex Officer will provide first class customer service as well as the safety and security of all tenants/guests, in a positive and professional manner.This role requires a person with an outgoing personality, polished communications skills, a presentable appearance and overall excellent customer service skills.Associates are expected to go above and beyond to fulfill as best as possible, whatever wants or needs guests might have.-Flex Officers must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work ALL SHIFTS and be able to work ANY DAY OF THE WEEK including WEEKENDS and HOLIDAYS.

-This candidate must take pride in their appearance as well as have a professional image.-The officer must also have excellent Customer Service skills with a very friendly personality.-At least 1 year of previous security experience is preferred.-Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable form of transportation.-Support manpower requirements at various accounts during shortages due to open shifts, call-offs, vacations, no shows, holidays, etc.-Work special events as required.-Expect to work on weekends and holidays with short notice.Candidates must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, be able to pass a background and drug screen and have a valid driver's license. (Does not have to be a Texas driver's license)Job Purpose:Maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees by monitoring and patrolling premises and personnel.Duties:Secures premises and personnel by monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.Maintains departmental security procedures while patrolling one or more of the followingareas: Building lobby, Building floors, Parking garage, Loading dock, Building perimeter,Outer perimeter.Controls all traffic in the loading dock, both vehicular and pedestrian. Monitors all material entering or leaving the dock area.Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Skills/Qualifications:Observational Skills, Deals with Uncertainty, Judgment, Objectivity, Dependability, Emotional Control, Integrity, Safety Management, and Professionalism.Must be able to stand for long periods of time; be able to climb multiple stairs; be able to respond to emergencies promptly; be able to lift heavy objects.Experience is preferred but definitely not required for some accounts.
