How will you make an impact & Requirement
Role Mission
The Associate - Shipping and Receiving /Logistics Support is responsible for ensuring high quality packaging, shipping and receiving services, as well as providing courier services as necessary. This role will be responsible for performing a variety of archiving duties. We are looking for a strong team player, ideally with some logistics/shipping experience who is detail oriented.
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Develop an understanding of our work and how it must be completed in compliance with applicable US and OECD regulations and our Standard Operating Procedures
โ€ข Develop an understanding of Chemical Safety and the proper use of safety equipment
โ€ข Understand the Standard Operating Procedures and equipment associated with their duties
โ€ข Understand the significance of Quality Control procedures and perform their work accordingly
โ€ข Conduct courier services
โ€ข Ensure vehicle logs and driving records are present and up to date
โ€ข Complete packaging and ship material following the regulatory requirements and transportation guidelines
โ€ข Verify receipts to ensure damage free products are introduced into our system, discrepancies are properly documented, and accurate records are maintained
โ€ข Place all incoming and outgoing materials in appropriate staging and storage locations
โ€ข Preserve the quality and integrity of materials while loading and unloading activities occur
โ€ข Promote the importance of inventory accuracy and aid all other coworkers in all inventory movements as necessary
โ€ข Ensure Receiving/Warehouse areas are safe, clean, and presentable at all times
โ€ข Maintain knowledge of the Standard Operating Procedures of the Archives
โ€ข Perform other duties as assigned by appropriate supervisory personnel
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school graduate (or equivalent)
  • Able to follow written and/or verbal instructions
  • Capable of producing quality work
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds on a regular basis and operate equipment associated with a warehouse / archive (forklift, etc.)
  • General understanding of PPE and MSDS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Working knowledge of warehouse, logistics, shipping, and receiving operations, including inventory control and documentation practices; prior experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail and recordkeeping accuracy.
  • Ability to follow SOPs, safety requirements, PPE requirements, and applicable regulatory guidelines, including DOT shipping requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer/data-entry systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds and operate warehouse equipment and company vehicles as required.

ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Work is performed in warehouse, archive, and loading dock environments, including climate-controlled and outdoor-adjacent areas.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and material handling throughout the workday, including lifting up to 75 pounds.
  • Regular use of warehouse equipment, packaging tools, and company vehicles for courier activities.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, chemicals, hazardous materials, and regulated shipments requiring adherence to PPE and safety protocols.
  • Fast-paced environment with fluctuating workloads, operational priorities, and shipping/receiving volumes.
  • All work must be performed in compliance with company safety policies, applicable regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Annual Salary: $46,400 - $48,400 per year, commensurate with experience.
No weekends or holidays - day shift (8 am to 5 pm M-F).
