Temp to Hire - LOCAL BOX TRUCK Driver (In Training) - Brier Creek Area, Raleigh

If you have previous experience driving a box truck, have a clean driving record, and are looking for an opportunity to gain the experience needed to drive your own route--this may be the role for you! We are seeking a reliable candidate, living in the Raleigh/Durham/Morrisville area to work for one of the largest beer distributors in the area. This is a great opportunity for those with entry-level box truck driving experience. Apply today to be considered for this role!


Position: Box Truck Driver (In Training)

Shift: M-F 4am-1pm

Pay Rate: $16.00 / hr. After 4 months of training & starting to drive your own route, pay gets bumped to $ 18.00 / hr.

Pay Schedule: Paid weekly


Responsibilities include:

  • Loading & Unloading trucks
  • Assist the Driver with routes delivering products consisting of multiple stops.
  • Place delivered products in various assigned storage locations at each stop according to customer’s request.
  • Maintain accuracy of delivered product with no damage due to mishandling.

Requirements:

  • Physically Fit - perform lifting over 50 lbs
  • Experience driving box truck.
  • Positive attitude
  • Excellent attendance
  • Clean background and clean MVR report (driving record)
