Job description

Medosweet is looking for lead loaders for our swing shift position. This position loads delivery trucks during the night for next day delivery. We provide training and competitive pay, benefits and career building opportunities. You bring a positive attitude, reliability and desire to build your career.

This is a full-time position scheduled to start in the afternoon until loading is finished. You will be scheduled for four days and have three days off, however you must be flexible to work weekends, holidays and other days as needed.

  • Pay Range $24 to $26 an Hr.
  • Shifts starts at 4:30pm and ends at 3:00am, or when the work is done.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with warehouse loaders to ensure trucks are loaded on time and accurately for next day delivery.
  • Support loaders with load responsibilities to ensure all shift duties are completed.
  • Work with supervisor and team to address any issues and work to resolve problems as they arise.
  • Use Warehouse Management System to assist with staging and loading customer orders.
  • When needed, load product on trucks, build and stage large orders.
  • Restock inventory as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized warehouse during shift.
  • Generate daily shift reports regarding loads, issues or personnel as needed.
  • Responsible for quality control. No damaged product is sent out.
  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
  • Operate forklift, electric pallet jacks, and trucks.
  • Communicate with co-workers and supervisor.
  • Clean and maintain warehouse.
  • Turn off and charge equipment when not in use.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. (English) This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Manual dexterity for operating equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time. (8+ hours)
  • Background check.
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Available to work weekends and holidays.
