Job description

Amazon Warehousing & Distribution (AWD), part of Amazon Supply Chain Services, is building the future of logistics - enabling manufacturers of all sizes to leverage Amazon's world-class supply chain, transportation network, and advanced technology to move products from factory floor to customer door faster, more reliably, and at significantly lower cost.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, results-oriented Sr. Program Manager to own end-to-end planning and execution of product initiatives that drive seller success and accelerate AWD's evolution as the single, integrated supply chain solution for sellers operating across multiple channels. This is a unique opportunity to operate in a fast-paced, startup-like environment within Amazon - where speed, ownership, and customer obsession drive everything we do.
Key job responsibilities
Operational Planning: Lead AWD's annual and mid-year planning cycles - owning goal-setting and cross-functional alignment to long-range targets.
Product Initiative Execution: Define roadmaps, milestones, and success metrics; drive delivery across product, engineering, operations, and finance teams.
Launch Readiness: Own change management, stakeholder communication, and risk mitigation to ensure seamless rollouts of new capabilities.
Performance & Insights: Establish mechanisms to measure initiative impact and drive continuous improvement through data-driven retrospectives.
Seller Advocacy: Translate seller needs into actionable program requirements that inform product priorities.
Process & Scalability: Build frameworks and processes that support AWD's rapid growth and increasing complexity.
Strategic Input: Feed execution learnings back into OP planning cycles to shape future investment priorities.
A day in the life
No two days are the same. One morning you're leading an OP1 planning session, aligning stakeholders on resource narratives and long-range goals. By midday, you're in a cross-functional sprint review with Product and Engineering, tracking milestones and unblocking dependencies for an upcoming launch. Later, you're synthesizing program health data to surface risks, then preparing a strategic business review for leadership that connects initiative progress to seller outcomes. This role blends operational planning, cross-functional execution, and strategic storytelling - all in service of scaling AWD's product capabilities.
About the team
The Amazon Warehousing and Distribution (AWD) team is building a best-in-class bulk storage offering that delivers meaningful value for our customers, sellers, and Amazon. We operate at the intersection of supply chain innovation and customer obsession - moving fast, embracing ambiguity, and challenging the status quo. Our mission is to simplify logistics so sellers can focus on growing their business, while driving efficiency and scale across Amazon's fulfillment network. We thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where bold ideas are encouraged.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience identifying opportunities to integrate AI solutions into program to drive business value.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Knowledge of general AI tools
- Experience designing, implementing, and scaling upskilling, apprenticeship, or workforce development programs across large-scale operations or corporate environments, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions
- Experience in supply chain
- Experience in advising and influencing executive leadership
