Job description

Capital Materials is a fast-growing leader in infrastructure and construction materials. We are seeking an experienced Loader Operator with strong mechanical aptitude to support our concrete plant operations in Boonville, Missouri. Position Summary

The Loader Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a front-end loader, supporting concrete production, and assisting with basic mechanical and maintenance needs to ensure smooth and consistent daytime operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a front-end loader and other heavy equipment as required.
  • Load, transport, and manage materials to support continuous concrete production.
  • Move material from stockpiles to feeder bins with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance, including fueling, lubricating, and checking fluid levels.
  • Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and assist maintenance personnel as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Assist with general plant maintenance and special projects as assigned.
  • Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and PPE requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support plant operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of threeย (3) yearsโ€™ experience operating a front-end loader required.
  • Mechanical experience or strong mechanical aptitude required (equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or similar hands-on experience).
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and travel as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screening, and background check.
  • Candidates will be required to complete a skills assessment as part of the interview process.
