đźš› Driver Helper - Royal Waste

📍 Location: Queens, NY 💵 Starting Pay: $24.75 per hour

đź•“ Work schedule includes nights and weekends.

Royal Waste Services is looking for a safety-conscious Driver Helper to join our Queens team.

This role supports garbage truck operations by manually collecting solid waste along designated routes and transporting materials to appropriate disposal sites.

Job Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  • Ride along with the driver to assist with customer service

  • Load refuse bags and bring containers to the truck for proper disposal

  • Direct the driver when backing the vehicle

  • Assist with basic vehicle maintenance

  • Operate packing mechanisms and levers to activate the loading arm

  • Clean the packer blade and truck body

  • Deliver positive customer service interactions

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • CDL Permit preferred

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day

  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
