Job description

Ziegler CAT has a part time seasonal Shop/Yard Helper position in our service department.

Responsibilities:

  • Transfer tools, components, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from work stations and other areas.
  • Organize department tooling
  • Supplies inventory
  • Assist shop technicians with maintenance & repair of equipment.
  • Help maintain the yard
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Support contamination control expectations
  • Remove trash and recycling
  • Clean in shop & facility
  • Wash machines in the wash bay

Qualifications:

  • Able to work independently
  • Team-player and willing to help wherever needed
  • Maintains safe and organized work area
  • Mechanical aptitude is preferable
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Personal Attributes: Dependable, Flexible, positive attitude, hard-working

Minimum Physical Requirements:

  • Push/pull up to 25 lbs

  • Lift/carry up to 25 lbs

  • Lift bulky objects

  • Standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing, neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, supine overhead reaching, crawling, bin lift, high steps, fingering/grasping - able to use bolt box.

  • Working Conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be loud at times.

The pay range for this position is

$15.73 to $18.86

Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant's location. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
