Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Onsite – Packaging Warehouse - Mishawaka, IN

Pay Range: $19 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, First Shift

Forklift Operator Overview:

Safely and efficiently moves freight throughout the production department.

Forklift Operator Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to department goals and objectives
  • Utilizes Yard Master Software and SAP
  • Directs Switcher when needed
  • Processes inbound trailers
  • Processes outbound shipments
  • Performs daily operator maintenance of hi-lo.
  • Performs safe operation of hi-lo.
  • Efficiently moves freight in time critical production area.
  • Unloads pallets from inbound trailers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Utilizes a scanner to move freight throughout the operation.
  • Efficiently moves material in a time critical area.
  • Sorts and loads outbound and dunnage to various suppliers
  • Safely loads and unloads trailers.
  • Loads and unloads pallets.
  • Loads returnable dunnage on trucks.
  • Performs pallet counts outside.
  • Performs other duties as necessary

Forklift Operator Qualifications:

  • Valid operator’s license for hi-lo
  • Ability to identify production parts by part number
  • Ability to demonstrate full understanding of production flow process
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work assigned hours and schedule
