General Summary

The Director, Business Development & Origination, Asia – Low Carbon Fuels will lead Anew’s commercial growth efforts across the Asia-Pacific region, with responsibility for both market development and commercial origination within the biomethane, liquefied biomethane (LBM), environmental attributes, and broader low-carbon fuels sectors.

Reporting directly to the President, Low Carbon Fuels, this role will be responsible for identifying and developing new commercial opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, securing long-term supply and offtake agreements, and supporting Anew’s expansion throughout Asia. The successful candidate will serve as Anew’s lead commercial representative in the region, building relationships across the maritime, utility, industrial, energy, infrastructure, financial, and government sectors while executing strategies that drive long-term growth and profitability.

Business Development & Market Creation

· Lead business development initiatives throughout Asia-Pacific to establish and expand Anew’s presence in low-carbon fuels markets.

· Identify, develop, and manage strategic relationships with biomethane producers, LNG and LBM infrastructure operators, shipping companies, utilities, industrial consumers, commodity traders, developers, and investors.

· Develop new commercial pathways and market structures that accelerate adoption of biomethane and LBM across Asia.

· Represent Anew at industry conferences, customer meetings, government forums, and trade organizations.

· Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key stakeholders throughout the energy, transportation, and environmental sectors.

· Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities that support Anew’s growth strategy.

Origination & Transaction Execution

· Develop and manage a robust pipeline of long-term supply, offtake, and strategic partnership opportunities throughout Asia-Pacific.

· Originate, negotiate, and execute commercial agreements, including supply contracts, purchase agreements, offtake agreements, structured transactions, and other strategic arrangements.

· Source and evaluate biomethane, LBM, environmental attribute, and low-carbon fuel opportunities that align with Anew’s commercial objectives.

· Lead transaction structuring, commercial negotiations, and contract execution activities.

· Coordinate with internal teams to support due diligence, pricing, risk assessment, and transaction approvals.

Strategic Leadership

· Support development and execution of Anew’s Asia growth strategy in coordination with the President, Low Carbon Fuels.

· Provide market intelligence and strategic recommendations regarding regional supply, demand, pricing, logistics, and regulatory developments.

· Identify opportunities for new products, services, and commercial structures that enhance Anew’s competitive position.

· Collaborate closely with commercial, regulatory, legal, finance, operations, and environmental products teams to support business growth.

· Contribute directly to annual revenue, gross margin, volume, and strategic growth objectives.

Required Education, Experience and Certification

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Energy, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.

· Minimum of 10 years of commercial experience in energy, LNG, biomethane, environmental commodities, renewable fuels, shipping, infrastructure, or related sectors.

· Demonstrated track record developing commercial opportunities and negotiating complex commercial agreements.

· Experience managing customer and partner relationships across Asia-Pacific.

· Strong understanding of commodity markets, commercial contracting, and risk management principles.

· Ability to travel extensively throughout Asia and internationally.
