You will be part of a cohesive team of social workers, medical professionals, and support staff who collaborate to provide high-quality care tailored to each client's unique needs. Your role will be vital in ensuring continuity of care and addressing any psychosocial barriers that may hinder recovery.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be on clients undergoing detoxification from substance use disorders, which often involves the complexities of co-occurring mental health conditions. Youโ€™ll be tasked with building rapport and trust with clients, often in their most vulnerable moments, while also engaging their families in the recovery process. By understanding and addressing the unique challenges faced by each client, you will play an integral role in their path to recovery.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Florida.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in social work, particularly within substance abuse or mental health settings.
  • In-depth knowledge of addiction treatment principles and resources available to clients and families.
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills.
  • Proficient use of electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and care coordination.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a detox center or similar treatment facility.
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to substance use treatment.
