Job description

We are seeking an experienced Rural Health Program Manager to lead the development, coordination, and evaluation of rural health professional development and continuing education programs. This role will collaborate with state agencies, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, and community partners to strengthen workforce development initiatives across Rhode Island.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Education, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in public health, healthcare education, program/project management, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in program planning, evaluation, budgeting, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience with LMS, webinar, or other technology platforms is preferred.
  • Plan, develop, and manage rural health education and professional development programs.
  • Assess training needs and coordinate curriculum development for in-person, hybrid, and online programs.
  • Conduct program evaluation, research, policy analysis, and fiscal analysis.
