Location: Wausau, WI (On-site)


About the Role

Our team is seeking a Service Operations Manager to lead day-to-day branch operations within a residential service environment. This role is responsible for driving performance, supporting field teams, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys balancing operations, team development, and service excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily service operations to ensure efficiency and strong performance
  • Coordinate and dispatch technicians to scheduled service calls
  • Communicate updates on job status, scheduling changes, and customer needs
  • Provide excellent customer service through clear, timely communication
  • Assist with incoming calls and service inquiries
  • Receive, organize, and manage parts and equipment inventory
  • Ensure technicians have the tools and materials needed to succeed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and office environment
  • Support process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
  • Help develop team members and identify growth opportunities
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new employees
  • Contribute to achieving operational and financial performance goals
  • Support leadership development and team retention initiatives

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in operations, service coordination, or leadership
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in computer systems and applications
  • Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow

• 3+ years of experience in operations, service coordination, team leadership, or a related function.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a similar field is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience is preferred, ideally in a fast-paced service environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, guide performance, and support employee development.
• Strong decision-making, prioritization, and problem-solving skills in a high-volume setting.
• Proficiency with computers and business systems; experience with ServiceTitan is helpful but not required.
• Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Positive, self-motivated approach with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
