Curing Marriage and Family Therapy Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our team. While the majority of your interactions will occur in a virtual setting, our outpatient office in Tualatin, Oregon, serves as a foundational hub for meetings and community engagement activities.

• Conduct comprehensive intake interviews to assess and diagnose client needs effectively, forming the basis for tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and narrative therapy to meet diverse client needs.
• Prepare and maintain detailed clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment summaries, to ensure accurate records and continuity of care.
• Provide specialized services within the Behavioral Health Department, which may involve managing special programs aimed at enhancing client outcomes.
• Engage in community outreach to develop and strengthen resources for preventive mental health services, fostering a supportive environment beyond therapy sessions.

You will be working with a diverse array of clients, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, family conflict, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Your expertise will support clients across varying demographics, ensuring that their unique backgrounds and situations are taken into account during therapy. By utilizing cultural competence and empathy, you will help clients navigate their respective journeys towards healing and resilience.

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• Active and valid LMFT license, with up-to-date compliance with state requirements and supervision guidelines, is essential for this role.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health services, including crisis intervention, is expected.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate expectations and facilitate team collaboration.
• Proficient multitasking abilities to manage varying client needs and priorities, ensuring timely service delivery.

• Experience in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client documentation efficiently.
• Background in program development or coordination, particularly in preventive mental health initiatives.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and effective virtual therapeutic techniques.
