Llm Training information

What is an LLM Training?

An LLM Training job involves developing, fine-tuning, and optimizing large language models (LLMs) to improve their performance and accuracy. This role typically includes data collection, preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and troubleshooting issues related to bias, efficiency, and scalability. Professionals in this field work with machine learning frameworks, large datasets, and computational resources to enhance AI capabilities. They may also collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product teams to deploy models for real-world applications.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the LLM Training position?

To excel in LLM Training, you need a strong background in machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and computer science, often backed by an advanced degree in a related field. Experience with programming languages such as Python, frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow, and familiarity with data annotation tools are essential, along with knowledge of cloud platforms and distributed computing. Strong analytical thinking, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams set top candidates apart. These skills ensure high-quality model development, efficient project execution, and the ability to adapt to evolving AI technologies.

What types of teams or professionals does an LLM Training specialist typically collaborate with?

Professionals specializing in LLM Training often work closely with data engineers, software developers, domain experts, product managers, and quality assurance analysts. Collaboration is essential for collecting and preprocessing training data, integrating models into products, and ensuring outputs meet business and user requirements. These roles frequently participate in agile project workflows, contribute to cross-functional team meetings, and collaborate on continuous model improvements. Engaging with diverse teams expands your understanding of product goals and helps you deliver robust and reliable language models that align with organizational objectives.

Is it possible to train Llm Training?

Training large language models (LLMs) is possible but requires significant computational resources, expertise in machine learning, and access to large datasets. It typically involves using specialized hardware like GPUs or TPUs and knowledge of frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Many organizations opt to fine-tune pre-trained models rather than train from scratch due to the high costs and complexity involved.

Job description

Posting Date
08/12/2026
2000 16th Street, Denver, Colorado, 80202, United States of America
We're looking for a Manager of Search Visibility & AI Discovery improve how DaVita is discovered across traditional search and AI-powered discovery experiences while helping build the foundation required for the future state of our digital ecosystem.
This is a role for someone who understands classic technical and content SEO deeply, but who is also actively experimenting with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) - the emerging discipline of making brands, products, and content discoverable, citable, and favorably represented within AI-generated answers. You'll help drive the strategy and lead the execution and measurement of how our brand shows up across every search and discovery surface, old and new.
Success in this role over the next 12-18 months will include establishing reporting on current SEO and AI visibility and performance, documenting baselines, assessing and prioritizing top opportunities to win ranking and increase traffic, and working across teams to inform new content as well as optimize and restructure existing content to show up more favorably across both traditional SERPs and AI-generated answers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
SEO Strategy & Execution
  • Inform the SEO strategy across technical, on-page, content, and off-page (link/authority) pillars
  • Conduct keyword, topic, and competitive research to identify organic growth opportunities
  • Partner with content and design to prioritize, plan and execute content that ranks and converts
  • Lead implementation and governance of schema, structured data, JSON-LD, crawlability, indexation, redirects, core web vitals, accessibility, and search platform health
  • Oversee on-page optimization (titles, meta descriptions, internal linking, content structure) across the site
  • Build and maintain a link-building strategy to grow domain authority
  • Own the remediation roadmap for technical SEO issues and prioritize fixes across modernization releases rather than simply identifying issues.

GEO & AI Search Optimization
  • Develop and lead the team's strategy for visibility in AI-generated answers across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews/AI Mode, Gemini, Copilot, and other LLM-based discovery tools
  • Research and apply emerging GEO best practices: structuring content for extractability, optimizing for citations, building topical authority signals that LLMs draw on, and monitoring how models retrieve and represent our brand
  • Track brand mentions, sentiment, and share-of-voice within AI-generated responses; build processes to audit and correct inaccurate or missing brand representation
  • Stay ahead of how retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), knowledge graphs, and LLM training/grounding data sources influence what AI tools "know" and say about the brand and category
  • Pilot and evaluate new tools/platforms for AI search monitoring and optimization (e.g., AI visibility trackers, citation analysis tools)

Analytics, Reporting & Insights
  • Establish DaVita's approach to AI search visibility, source citation monitoring, share of voice tracking, AI referral measurement, and GEO experimentation
  • Build and operationalize the SEMRush infrastructure for SEO, GEO, and AI Visibility, including creation of clear KPI definitions, platform dashboards, monitoring, and executive/enterprise reporting
  • Own day-to-day execution and vendor management for SEMrush and other search intelligence platforms, ensuring insights turn into actions and measurable outcomes
  • Partner with analytics team and agency to define and report on KPIs across both traditional organic search (rankings, traffic, conversions) and AI search visibility (citation frequency, share of voice, referral traffic from AI platforms)
  • Translate data into clear recommendations and present results to marketing leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Run structured experiments (content formats, schema types, prompt-based audits) to test what moves the needle in AI search results

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Act as the internal subject-matter expert on search and AI discovery trends, educating cross functional and leadership teams
  • Drive prioritization and execution of search improvements in alignment with the website modernization roadmap and broader digital transformation strategy
  • Partner with content, analytics, and development teams to ensure new site experiences are optimized for discoverability from launch, not retrofitted afterward
  • Collaborate with developers on technical implementation (schema, site structure, page speed, llm.txt/robots considerations, etc.)
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, freelancers, or tools as needed

Education and Requirements
Requirements:
  • 7+ years in SEO and 6+ months of GEO/AI hands on search optimization with a proven track record of improving performance

  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools (Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog) and analytics platforms (GA4, GSC, Pendo)
  • Have researched and applied emerging GEO best practices: structuring content for extractability, optimizing for citations, building topical authority signals that LLMs
  • Experience with visibility in AI-generated answers
  • Experience owning strategy end to end, not just execution
  • Can translate data into clear recommendations and present results to marketing leadership and cross-functional stakeholders

Preference For:
  • Experience working in or alongside healthcare, health tech, or other regulated industries
  • Familiarity with EHR integrations, clinical workflows, or patient-facing digital health web experiences
  • Background working within Agile/Scrum product development environments

What We'll Provide:
More than just pay, our DaVita Rewards package connects teammates to what matters most. Teammates are eligible to begin receiving benefits on the first day of the month following or coinciding with one month of continuous employment. Below are some of our benefit offerings.
  • Comprehensive benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid time off, PTO cash out

  • Professional development programs: DaVita offers a variety of programs to help strong performers grow within their career and also offers on-demand virtual leadership and development courses through DaVita's online training platform StarLearning.

#LI-JS7
At DaVita, we strive to be a community first and a company second. We want all teammates to experience DaVita as "a place where I belong." Our goal is to embed belonging into everything we do in our Village, so that it becomes part of who we are. We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and comply with state and federal affirmative action requirements. Individuals are recruited, hired, assigned and promoted without regard to race, national origin, religion, age, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
This position will be open for a minimum of three days.
The Salary Range for the role is $85,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year.
