What is a Live In job?

A Live-In job typically refers to a position where an employee resides at their workplace, often in a private household or care facility. Common roles include caregivers, nannies, housekeepers, or companions who provide support and services in exchange for accommodation and salary. Live-In employees usually have scheduled working hours but may also offer on-call assistance as needed. The arrangement allows for a close, continuous level of service while providing the employee with a place to live. Specific duties, compensation, and time off vary depending on the employer's agreement.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Live In position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Live In (such as a live-in caregiver, nanny, or housekeeper), you need hands-on experience in caregiving, household management, and possibly childcare or eldercare, often with references or relevant training. Familiarity with communication tools (such as mobile devices) and, in some roles, first aid or CPR certifications are commonly required. Compassion, reliability, flexibility, and strong interpersonal skills will help you build trust with the household and adapt to varying needs. These abilities are crucial for maintaining a safe, supportive, and smoothly running living environment for the individuals or families you support.

What are the typical daily routines and responsibilities for a Live In position?

A Live In role typically involves a mix of caregiving or household duties, such as assisting with personal care, preparing meals, light housekeeping, and sometimes providing transportation or companionship. Your schedule may vary depending on the needs of the household, but you can expect to be available for tasks throughout the day, with agreed-upon breaks and personal time. Flexibility is important, as routines can change due to medical appointments, school activities, or other family needs. Many Live In positions offer the opportunity to form meaningful connections with those you care for while gaining valuable experience in home management and personal support.

General Manager — Carl's Jr.

Location: 55 W, 1170 N Cedar Mountain Rd, Fillmore, UT 84631

Job Type: Full-Time, Salaried

Pay: $60,000–$65,000/year + up to $1,000/month performance bonus (up to ~$77K/year all-in)

Schedule: ~50 hrs/week, including 4 dinner shifts. Must be reachable outside scheduled hours.

Reports To: District Manager

About the Role Run a Carl's Jr. restaurant in Fillmore, UT as the person who owns everything that happens inside the four walls — people, guests, food, money, and the building. You'll lead a team of crew members, shift leaders, and assistant managers, hit your P&L numbers, and keep the store operating at Carl's Jr. brand standards day in and day out.

A Note on Location Our Fillmore store sits in a quieter, rural part of central Utah. If you live in or around Fillmore, Delta, Holden, Kanosh, Meadow, or Scipio, this is a great chance to run a well-paying GM job close to home. We also welcome candidates from further out — just go in with your eyes open about the drive, the winter weather, and the on-call nature of the role. The people who do best here are the ones who genuinely like a small-town pace and aren't counting on a short commute.

What You'll Do

  • Lead daily operations across all dayparts and hold the team accountable to QSC (Quality, Service, Cleanliness) standards
  • Hire, train, schedule, and develop crew, shift leaders, and assistant managers
  • Own the store P&L — labor, food cost, waste, cash, and monthly performance against plan
  • Deliver a consistently great guest experience and resolve guest issues on the spot
  • Execute company marketing programs and drive local sales-building activity
  • Enforce food safety, sanitation, labor law, and security procedures
  • Develop your bench so you always have a qualified shift leader or AGM ready for the next step

Required

  • 1+ years of management experience (restaurant, fast food, full-service, or convenience strongly preferred)
  • 21 or older
  • Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and proof of insurance
  • Reachable by phone outside scheduled hours for store emergencies
  • Able to work ~50 hours/week including 4 dinner shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Comfortable with the physical side of the job: long hours on your feet, bending, lifting up to 75 lbs, working around heat and cleaning chemicals
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred

  • Prior GM or AGM experience in QSR
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Comfort with P&L review, scheduling software, and basic restaurant tech
  • Some college

Compensation & Growth

  • $60K–$65K base depending on experience
  • Up to $12,000/year in monthly performance bonuses
  • Opportunities to advance within Stellaris Group as the company grows
  • Stable, full-time salaried role with a clear weekly schedule

About Stellaris Group Stellaris operates Carl's Jr. restaurants and runs on four core values: People, Integrity, Quality, and Innovation. We invest in our managers because they're the ones who make every guest experience happen.
