The Bartender is a key member of the Rustler Lodge dining and lounge team, responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with skill, precision, and warmth in the Eagle's Nest Lounge and dining room. Working in full compliance with Utah liquor laws, this role combines technical bartending expertise with genuine hospitality, ensuring every guest enjoys exceptional cocktails by the fireplace or views out the window as part of the memorable Rustler Lodge experience. This position is well-suited to an experienced, detail-oriented bartender who takes pride in maintaining a clean, well-stocked bar and delivering the polished, attentive service that defines the Rustler's reputation for unrivaled hospitality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Show up on time, in uniform ready to work
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Mix, prepare, and serve drinks according to approved recipes
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions of bar and lounge area
  • Wash glassware during service
  • Maintain records of liquors, beers, and wine to ensure bar stock is maintained at all times
  • Operate in accordance with Utah liquor laws
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have, or be able to obtain, a valid Utah food handler permit and a Utah alcohol server permit
  • Prior bartending experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills; knowledge of Aloha POS useful
  • Great customer service skills
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, & lift for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 30lbs

Work Schedule:
  • Full time day bartender 5 days a week 3pm-12am, exact hours may vary

Accommodations
  • Both live out and live-in positions available
  • For live in positions, onsite housing available in shared dormitory style rooms. Bi weekly room and board charge of $125 includes three meals a day
  • Meals provided while on shift for live out employees
  • Ski pass included
