About this role:

We are seeking an OB/GYN physician to join a newly forming, collegial group of eight OB/GYNs. This is a rare chance to help shape a growing practice, serve the Utah County community, and play a foundational role in building a brandnew OB/GYN residency program.

  • You'll be a generalist OB/GYN with significant flexibility in your ratio of gynecology and obstetrics.
  • You'll be deeply involved in developing a new Intermountain OB/GYN residency program (anticipated to begin in 2028) and training medical students (beginning in 2029) in a supportive clinical environment.
  • 1:8 gynecology call
  • Obstetric call may be optional, as you have the chance to sign out to our dedicated, experienced obstetric hospitalist team.
  • Clinic is conveniently located across the street from Utah Valley Hospital, where all surgeries and deliveries occur.

Utah Valley Hospital, a Level II Trauma Center, serves Utah County and surrounding communities with exceptional resources:

  • 24/7 inhouse anesthesia, obstetric hospitalists, and neonatology

  • MaternalFetal Medicine available on site during the day and available via telemedicine consult overnight

  • Level III NICU capable of caring for patients across all acuity levels and gestational ages

  • Da Vinci Robotics Surgical Suite XI & DV5 on site with ample block time.

  • Urogynecologists, MIGs, Gynecologic Oncologists, and allied women's health professionals are all part of Intermountain's thriving Women's Health Network.

How we'll support you:
  • Guaranteed base salary of $361,500.00, with additional productivity pay.

  • Eligible annually for an obtainable $20,000 quality incentive

  • $30,000 starting bonus

  • $1,500 monthly residency stipend for those that sign while still in training

  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in OB/GYN

  • Unrestricted Utah MD or DO license, or the ability to obtain an unrestricted license

  • Ability to complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
