Join Home Matters Caregiving, a trusted in-home care agency serving the Greater Boston West area. We provide everything from companionship to end-of-life hospice care, and we’re committed to supporting our caregivers with the training, resources, and professional growth they need to succeed.

Duties

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
  • Medication reminders and documentation
  • Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
  • Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations or activities.
  • Assist with dementia care, providing specialized support for individuals with cognitive impairments.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and family members regarding client needs and progress.

Requirements

  • 6 months of experience in home care or as a Personal Care Assistant.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • A heart for compassionate, high-quality in-home care
  • Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
  • Experience or training in dementia care is highly desirable.
