Location:These positions will be based out of the Birmingham, AL office

Skills and Experience:
Yates Engineers, part of The Yates Companies, is growing in their Greenville, SC and Birmingham, AL offices. We are looking for highly qualified Engineers and Designers with 5 - 20 years of diversified experience who can perform engineering and design on heavy industrial projects (pulp and paper, power, chemical) for all disciplines. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic firm with great growth potential. Founded in 1963, Yates is a family owned, privately held company and is one of the top construction and engineering providers in the nation.
If you have the below experience in one of the disciplines listed, we would love to talk with you about how you can be a part of our team.
Requirements:
  • Civil/Structural Engineers and Designers (BIM, STAAD, REVIT, concrete, steel)
  • Mechanical/Piping Engineers and Designers (pipe stress, hydraulic calculations, piping design, Autodesk Plant 3D)
  • Electrical Engineers and Designers (Autocad, power distribution, motor elementaries, wiring diagrams, construction packages)
  • Instrumentation Engineers and Designers (Autocad, valve sizing, P&ID's, loop sheets, instrument specs, construction packages)
  • Chemical/Process (P&ID's, calculations, WinGEMS, ASPEN, Autocad)
  • Project Management (FEL development, project development, management of engineering budget and Schedule)

Industry Experience:
  • Industrial or pulp and paper background needed
