Can I work from home as a web developer?

Live-in web developers typically work on-site due to the need for direct collaboration and access to equipment, but many web development roles can be performed remotely if the employer allows it. Remote work depends on company policies, project requirements, and the developer's skills with collaboration tools like version control and communication platforms.
