Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Urogynecology team ! This is a new position to the team and will be practicing at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN.

Position Details:
  • Full-time, Day Shift
    • Monday-Friday, open to 8a to 5p (Open for discussion based on clinic needs)
    • Call Schedule- Back up Physician when out of town
  • 10-20% Inpatient
  • 80-90% Outpatient
  • Working directly with 6 physicians and working directly with 8 physician assistants
Patient Population:
  • Women seeking caring for Pelvic, Bladder and Bowel concerns. All ages seek care for surgical and non-surgical needs
Procedures:
  • Urodynamics, PTNS-percutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation, IUD Removal and insertion, Nexplanon insertion and removal, Pap Smears, Pessaries
Key Responsibilities:
  • New and return patient population for Women's urogynecology needs. This includes but not limited to, recurrent UTIs, overreactive bladder, pelvic pain, organ prolapse, pessary fittings, urodynamic studies, ongoing management or refer surgical candidates to physicians.
  • Experience performing or assisting with office-based procedures, patient education, and care coordination is desirable
Qualifications:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program required
  • Maintains current BLS certification
  • ACNP, AGNP, CNM, FNP, WHNP or PA certification required
  • Current Indiana license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant
  • 2+ years of APP experience in women's health, OB/GYN, or related clinical experience preferred
  • Open to highly motivated new grads with RN experience in OBGYN, Urology, or other women's health care
