Job description

This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity providing IT support across multiple PCA locations. The primary worksite will be:

  • Columbus – Main Plant (3460 Commerce Dr., Columbus, IN) – Onsite daily unless traveling to other PCA locations.

Additional locations include:

  • Edinburgh Warehouse – Approximately 7 miles from Columbus; occasional visits as needed.
  • Gas City (520 South First Street, Gas City, IN) – About 110 miles from Columbus; travel required approximately once every other week or as needed once familiar with the site.
  • Vincennes (408 East St. Clair Street, Vincennes, IN) – Also about 110 miles from Columbus; similar travel expectations as Gas City.
  • Middletown, OH and Fairfield, OH – Remote support will be provided for these locations in the future.

Salary Range: $70,000 – $75,000


Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5-9 years previous work experience in related ITS area.
  • IT knowledge of computers, laptops, tablets, servers, mobile units, virtual machine environment.
  • Knowledge of networks (i.e.: Network Switches, TCP/IP, Packet Capture Software).
  • Knowledge of VMware and Microsoft Server environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft SCCM and Active Directory.
  • Experience Supporting O365 including Outlook and MS Teams.
  • Experience investigating and resolving help desk service requests and use of help desk software.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of VLAN concepts and configuration.
  • Understand the concept of PowerShell commands.
  • Familiarity with Wireless technologies (Aruba, Aerohive and Cisco).
  • Familiarity with traffic capture techniques and software.
  • Understanding of DHCP, vLans, and SSH protocols.

Skills –

  • Must be Windows Operating Systems literate. Desktop and server.
  • Veeam backup experience is a plus.
  • Must have strong organizational skills to handle numerous details, deadlines, and requests.
  • Must have the ability to adapt to and work effectively and independently in a fast paced, multitasking environment.
  • Must be able to evaluate and prioritize tasks for efficiency and completeness.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals throughout the company on departmental procedures, policies, and requests for information.
