Weekend Nanny Position

A warm and growing family on the Upper West Side is seeking an experienced and engaging weekend nanny to care for their sweet 3-year-old daughter.

Mom is an artist and is looking for someone who is flexible, nurturing, and excited to become a valued part of their family. The ideal candidate enjoys working with preschool-aged children, is proactive, and is comfortable traveling.

Schedule:

  • Friday: 2:00 PM 8:00 PM
  • Saturday: 12:00 PM 8:00 PM
  • Sunday: 12:00 PM 8:00 PM

The family is happy to guarantee 25 hours each weekend for the right candidate.

Travel: The nanny should be available to travel with the family to Washington, D.C., one weekend per month. Overnight fees will be provided for all travel.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a dependable, energetic, and travel-ready nanny who is looking for a consistent long-term weekend position with a kind and creative family.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Mom to coordinate weekend plans and fun for a 3 year old girl
  • Manage daily routines including meals, naps, activities, bath time, and bedtime preparation.
  • Plan engaging indoor and outdoor activities that support learning, exploration, creativity, and physical development.
  • Facilitate outings to parks, playgrounds, libraries, community activities, and seasonal attractions.
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child.
  • Maintain children's laundry, bedrooms, play areas, and supplies.
  • Assist with grocery shopping and child-related errands as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with the weekday nanny to maintain consistency in routines, expectations, and developmental goals.
  • Support a clean, organized, and well-functioning household environment throughout the weekend.
  • Travel to DC once a month for the weekend
