Job description

Tablet Press Operator

Location: Dallas, TX 75238
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Shift: MondayFriday, 3:30 PM 2:30 AM
Training will take place on the day shift for approximately one month.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable Tablet Press Operator to safely operate tablet compression equipment and produce high-quality products according to production specifications, SOPs, GMP standards, and safety requirements. This is a safety-sensitive role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and adjust tablet press equipment according to batch records.

  • Monitor tablet quality, including weight, thickness, hardness, and appearance.

  • Complete production paperwork accurately and maintain proper documentation.

  • Follow GMPs, SOPs, and company quality standards.

  • Clean and sanitize equipment and production areas.

  • Perform routine equipment inspections and basic troubleshooting.

  • Use scales, calipers, hardness testers, and other measuring devices.

  • Handle materials safely and maintain a clean, organized work area.

  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.

Qualifications
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and production documents in English.

  • Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping skills.

  • Basic math and mechanical aptitude.

  • Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Previous manufacturing, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food production, or related experience preferred.

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move materials using appropriate equipment.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
